Both the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution established a profound "vision" for America in 1776 and 1789. They laid the groundwork for the establishment of the greatest Republic in world history, and America is at a point in time when her people could very well perish. I do not mean physically as a result of some major war or because of some impending cataclysmic event, but because our federal government and its agencies are leading us down a visionary path that is totally contrary to the sacred "vision" of our Founding Fathers which is enshrined in the aforementioned sacred documents. America declared its independence from Great Britain in 1776 and fought a six year war to shake off the tyrannical yoke of England's arrogant monarchy and oppressive, high-minded Parliament. Isn't it most interesting and ironic how our nation has come full circle by the year 2013? President Obama conducts his state of affairs in the same arrogant manner as did King George III, as if he were above the law. Our Congress is dysfunctional and resembles that of the arrogant House of Lords in Parliament. The nine black robed justices of the US Supreme Court function in the precise manner as Greek gods and goddesses, dispensing their powerful and heavy handed version of justice down upon their subjects with lightning bolts from Mount Olympus. Our federal government was never designed by our Founding Fathers to function in the manner in which it is accustomed to operating today, a government run amok, out of control, and totally unaccountable to the American people. All three branches of the federal government have become about as useful to the American people as teats are to a bull. Consider these salient points:
1. President Obama, with the approval of Congress, is conducting a spying program on the American people that would make Richard Nixon appear as a charming church choir saint. This current spying program is in total violation of the Fourth Amendment of the Bill of Rights and is being conducted under the guise of national security-using the NSA and PRISM while at the same time, constructing a massive data mining complex in Utah in order to house a mind-boggling amount of data on the American people. Welcome to our "Orwellian Society!" This brings a whole new meaning to the "All Seeing Eye" on the back of the American dollar bill now doesn't it?
2. Our federal government, as well as some state governments, are thrashing the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights in the hope of totally disarming the American people so we can't fight back while shamefully and cowardly hiding behind the skirts and pants of schoolchildren to achieve their diabolical goals. The ends justify the means.
3. The federal government is currently surrounded by a host of scandals including: Benghazi and its intentional coverup under the inept and corrupt leadership of Hillary Clinton, the State Department, and President Obama; the criminal activities and abuses of the IRS with the targeting of conservative organizations and conservative churches; the AP scandal and scrutinizing of FOX News reporter, James Rosen, which is in direct violation of the First Amendment guarantee of freedom of the press; the president of the US defending the scandalous treachery of a corrupt Attorney General, Eric Holder. The victims and the families of victims be damned. As Hillary Clinton so sensitively put it as she shouted to Congress and the American people while waving her arms: "What does it matter?!!"
4. The federal government is bankrupting the country, putting the well-being of the American people at serious risk. Welcome to Greece!
5. America's armed forces are being weakened financially and spiritually, and as a direct result, the federal government is participating in the undermining of the Soldier's Creed. America's very survival is at serious risk. Veterans are up in arms. Men and women want to leave the military. Where is General Patton when we need him?
6. We are losing the vision of our sacred Judaic-Christian heritage while propping up the religion of Islam and giving that religion and its followers at all levels special attention and protection under the law just as we see happening in England. You had better be prepared folks to replace our Constitution with Sharia Law and the Koran!
7. Low information American voters who are uneducated idiots, especially many who are members of the narcissistic 18-30 year old bunch, are electing and re-electing low information political idiots who are destroying this nation and dragging it down into the gutter. This is a political replay of "Dumb and Dumber." Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey anyone?
8. The educational system is drowning under the influence and domination of secular-progressives, leftist public school teachers and professors within the K-12 public school system, colleges, and universities. They must all be fundamentally transformed in order to rescue our youth from being brainwashed by leftist psychobabble and the tyranny of the Democratic Party. Grab your popcorn, candy, and soda as we watch the "Stepford Kids," a Twilight Zone reality television show!

Traditional Americans....Are We Radical?
For those of you who regularly follow the news--the federal government, secular-liberals, the mainstream media, and even the US Army Reserve, are now calling traditional Americans who are Catholic and Evangelical Christians--radical. Oh really? Well if we are...then we are in excellent company for that would represent not only more than half of the country, but it would also include Americans such as our Founding Fathers and Patriots such as: the Sons and Daughters of Liberty of the 1700s, Paul Revere, The Minutemen, Samuel Adams, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, Ben Franklin, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, and deceased entertainers such as John Wayne, Charlton Heston, Lucille Ball, Jimmy Stewart, Bob Hope, and many other great Americans and prominent American statesmen. We "radicals" should all consider it an honor and take considerable pride in this label while wearing it as a badge of honor.

Consider some of the reasons as to what led to the decline and fall of the ancient Roman Empire:

* Decline in interest in public affairs
* Low confidence in empire
* Disloyalty, lack of patriotism
* Emphasis on entertainment

* Decrease in general level of education among citizens

* Lack of funds for defense

What occurred with ancient Rome is currently being replicated by America. These same attributes that led to the decline and fall of ancient Rome are being played out right before our very eyes on a daily basis, and they are proof positive that we are forgetting the lessons of the past. Americans now value our privileges over our principles, and we are about to lose both. Our government leaders and half the populace are now asking what America can do for us rather than asking what we can do for our country. And last, but not least, our future is being judged because of the secular-liberals who are being permitted to run amok in this country as a direct result of their ignoring or mocking our past. The lamp that is guiding their traitorous feet is completely out.
Are you as frightened as I am? If you are not, you sure as hell should be! Are you fed up with all of the liberal psychobabble currently engulfing us? There is only one way out Patriots! Traditional Americans need to take the bull by the horns and return our country to the virtues of exceptionalism that have been in serious decline these past fifty years and counting. If we fail to keep these leftist wolves at bay, America will fall just like the ancient Roman Empire did.

The Traditional American Movement
A number of Democratic Senators are retiring and will not run for re-election in 2014. This is a golden opportunity for conservatives to retake control of the Senate. Notice I did not say Republican control. That is because there is a power struggle taking place for control of the Republican Party between moderates and conservatives. The moderates maintain they need to field candidates who are moderate if they are to win future elections. Uh huh! And that is why we were victorious in the presidential and senatorial elections in 2008 and 2012, correct? The conservatives, or traditional Americans, maintain we need to reverse course if our nation is to survive. Here are the tenets of the Traditional American
Movement:
* Traditional Americans will be proud to acknowledge and advocate for America's Judeo/Christian heritage and its traditional morality, and we will do so without making apologies.
* We will not be ashamed to acknowledge and celebrate our country's vibrant and sacred holidays publicly such as Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Passover, etc. We will not ignore these sacred holidays within our public schools either.
* We will fight to the death, if necessary, for the individual rights guaranteed the American people as stipulated in The Bill of Rights, especially our right to bear arms.
* We will restore fidelity to the Constitution by remaining faithful to the original design, intent, and wording of our Founding Fathers when they crafted that sacred covenant between the American people and their government.
* We will continue to use our own legal advocacy groups such as the American Center For Law and Justice, the Alliance Defense Fund, etc., to promote and defend our traditional customs, our mainstream religious values, and our religious civil rights guaranteed all of the American people in the First Amendment of the Constitution. We will strike a mighty blow for liberty and religious freedom rather than bow to the intolerant bigotry being promoted by the secular-progressives of this nation and their minions within the Democratic Party.
* We will restore limited government and common sense back to our federal government that has been permitted to run amok as evidenced by its incessant trampling on the constitutional rights of individuals as well as states' rights.
* We will untangle all business entrepreneurs from the snare of burdensome state and federal regulations so this country can once again thrive economically.
* We will reduce confiscatory taxes on all individuals and businesses so additional mom-and-pop shops can be created and employ out of work Americans. Families will thrive as they too will be able to retain a larger share of their income that can be better spent in their own homes and local communities rather than being wasted on a plethora of federal programs that should not exist in the first place. The government that governs least governs best.
* We will restore free market principles to our economy rather than continue to travel down the road of European-style socialism. We will bury once and for all the liberal philosophy of "social justice" which has crippled this nation and created a "class of dependency" whose members continually feed upon the state and federal government gravy trains at the expense of the rest of hard working Americans.
* We will once again restore the American virtue that states, "You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves," and we will battle against the liberal forces that promote class warfare and class hatred.
* We will re-industrialize America so we can once again be the envy of the world with regard to our manufacturing prowess and business acumen, while at the same time putting millions of Americans back to work.
* We will see to it that we become energy independent once and for all by tapping a huge new geyser spewing forth vast natural resources within the boundaries of our own country in order that we may gradually wean ourselves from the teats of OPEC and the Middle East.
* We will eventually wrestle public education from the headlocks of the secular-progressive leftists by exerting a significant and much needed conservative influence on the current system or by implementing "vouchers" and "school choice" in the very near future if all else fails.
* By shrinking the scope and power of the federal government, we will significantly reduce our people's dependence on the government gravy train so they can once again take care of themselves and their own families with a renewed sense of pride rather than perpetuating the repugnant philosophy of "spreading the wealth."
* Traditional Americans will see to it that our armed forces are sufficiently funded so that our men and women in uniform are well equipped to confront any foe with a crushing blow. No one will dare cross us without paying a heavy price for doing so!
These are the traits that define the traditional American. Regardless of what political party you belong to, if you agree with these core principles, you are a traditional American. In 2014 and beyond, we need to unite and elect men and women to political office on the state and federal levels who sincerely adhere to these core values and principles. Only then, my fellow Americans, will we be able to restore the traditional American virtues of exceptionalism that have undergone a serious decline in our great nation over the past fifty years. Burning Bridges to the Past-Leftist Style
Have you ever wondered why it is secular-liberals have such a disdain for America's past? During every local and national election, progressives mock America's past and ridicule their opponents, accusing conservatives of desiring to return our country back to its past as if all former things are evil and worthless in today's contemporary society. Ever wonder why it is that many of today's liberals maintain our Constitution is outdated and needs to be scrapped? Why do liberals roll their eyes in disgust when conservatives talk about American exceptionalism? Why do they want to undermine our Judaic/Christian heritage by taking God out of the Pledge of Allegiance, to site just one example. Why do they want our young people to be ignorant about America's past and greatness? Why do liberals continue to wage their annual war on Christmas? Well, the following quotations by a few of our Founding Fathers as well as the influential wife of John Adams, Abigail Adams, might shed some light on the subject as well as open your eyes with regard to the questions I have just posed!

These quotations pointedly answer the questions posed in the opening paragraph of this blog. Democrats do not want Americans to see them for who and what they really are because their philosophy as how best to govern America is diametrically opposed to the philosophy advocated by our Founding Fathers. To borrow a clever line from the movie, The Wizard of Oz: "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain! The great Oz has spoken!" The liberals despise our past, are embarrassed about it, and no longer want anything to do with the virtues that made our country truly exceptional. On the other hand, the above quotes are reflective of the political and economic philosophies of conservatives, not liberals who are tearing this country apart.
Progressives do not want our children to be educated about the greatness of our past in our public schools. They do not want patriotic assemblies presented to our children that would inspire a patriotic love for our country. Gone are the teaching of patriotic hymns such as, 'America the Beautiful,' 'God Bless America,' 'The Battle Hymn of the Republic,' etc. I seriously doubt most of today's children would even know the lyrics to such songs--songs we proudly sang regularly in public school when I was growing up in Great Falls, Montana during the 1960s. Gone are the Nativity Pageants in our schools and the Creche displays in our communities during the Christmas season. The general populace as well as many of our progressive politicians are ignorant of our Declaration of Independence and the Constitution because of a lack of emphasis being placed on these sacred documents in many of our public schools. Our Founding Fathers would be appalled with what secular-liberals and atheists are currently advocating for America while shoving their vile secular-progressive psychobabble down everyone's throats with the full support of liberal politicians, liberal judges, and liberal special interest groups such as the ACLU, etc. We have mass shootings occurring right now in our public and private schools by deranged and Godless youth, rather than prayer and brief Bible reading which occurred during the majority of our Republic's history. Our culture is dying. Our youth is dying. Our country is dying, and all we can muster are pathetic, lame excuses for all of this hogwash while our political leaders and the majority of the American people are turning blind eyes and deaf ears as to the reasons why such tragedies are occurring.

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of
patriots and tyrants."
"To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which
he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical."
"On every question of construction let us carry ourselves back to the time
when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the
debates, and instead of trying what meaning can be squeezed out of the text,
or invented against it, conform to the probable one which was passed."
These quotations pointedly answer the questions posed in the opening paragraph of this blog. Democrats do not want Americans to see them for who and what they really are because their philosophy as how best to govern America is diametrically opposed to the philosophy advocated by our Founding Fathers. To borrow a clever line from the movie, The Wizard of Oz: "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain! The great Oz has spoken!" The liberals despise our past, are embarrassed about it, and no longer want anything to do with the virtues that made our country truly exceptional. On the other hand, the above quotes are reflective of the political and economic philosophies of conservatives, not liberals who are tearing this country apart.
Progressives do not want our children to be educated about the greatness of our past in our public schools. They do not want patriotic assemblies presented to our children that would inspire a patriotic love for our country. Gone are the teaching of patriotic hymns such as, 'America the Beautiful,' 'God Bless America,' 'The Battle Hymn of the Republic,' etc. I seriously doubt most of today's children would even know the lyrics to such songs--songs we proudly sang regularly in public school when I was growing up in Great Falls, Montana during the 1960s. Gone are the Nativity Pageants in our schools and the Creche displays in our communities during the Christmas season. The general populace as well as many of our progressive politicians are ignorant of our Declaration of Independence and the Constitution because of a lack of emphasis being placed on these sacred documents in many of our public schools. Our Founding Fathers would be appalled with what secular-liberals and atheists are currently advocating for America while shoving their vile secular-progressive psychobabble down everyone's throats with the full support of liberal politicians, liberal judges, and liberal special interest groups such as the ACLU, etc. We have mass shootings occurring right now in our public and private schools by deranged and Godless youth, rather than prayer and brief Bible reading which occurred during the majority of our Republic's history. Our culture is dying. Our youth is dying. Our country is dying, and all we can muster are pathetic, lame excuses for all of this hogwash while our political leaders and the majority of the American people are turning blind eyes and deaf ears as to the reasons why such tragedies are occurring.
My book, 'The Sissification of America: A Fifty-Year Decline in American Exceptionalism,' contains many of the above quotes and serves as a clarion call for the American people as to how we might rekindle A City upon a Hill. We had better turn things around now my fellow Americans or we will perish as a nation, or we will follow in the footsteps of socialistic Europe which is what liberals truly desire for this nation. America rebelled against the tyranny of England by declaring its independence from British tyranny in 1776. Liberals, are you listening? Patriots, are you prepared to get your hands dirty and fight the good fight to save our country from those who want to destroy it from within? Where are the muscular Christians who are willing to reprise the old hymn, 'Onward Christian Soldiers,' and take back our country from those traitors who want us to reflect the values, politics, moral relativism, and socialistic economic priorities of Western Europe? If we end up going down the path of the decline of the ancient Roman Empire my dear Americans, we will have no one to blame but ourselves! Complacency is our worst enemy my fellow Patriots. May God help us!!

Storm Clouds Over The American Horizon
The following excerpts are from a former president's Independence Day oration-delivered while campaigning as a candidate for Congress in 1946. See if you can determine who it was that delivered these words to the American people. The answer may surprise you!
"Whenever freedom has been in danger, Americans with a deep sense of patriotism have ever been willing to stand at Armageddon and strike a blow for liberty and the Lord...
...The right of the individual against the state has ever been one of our most cherished political principles. The American Constitution has set down for all men to see the essentially Christian and American principle, that there are certain rights held by every man which no government and no majority, however powerful, can deny. Conceived in Grecian thought, strengthened by Christian morality and stamped indelibly into American political philosophy, the right of the individual against the state is the keystone of our Constitution. Each man if free.
He is free in thought.
He is free in expression.
He is free in worship. ...
May God grant that, at some distant date, on this day, and on this platform, the orator may be able to say that these are still the great qualities of the American character and that they have prevailed."
Re-read the above closing statement of this prominent American politician and ponder it for a brief moment. Can we honestly say that the great qualities of the American character are in serious danger in today's political climate? You bet they are my fellow Americans! I personally question as to whether or not they will prevail much longer. Look how far we have come as a nation in a relative short period of time. Want some other examples? Let us take a brief look at a couple of shocking examples that have recently transpired within some of the nation's public schools.
A few years back, the local school board of Portland, Maine, approved the distribution of contraceptives to the students in its middle schools without parental notification or approval. In 2007, there was a drug and sex scandal at Boulder High School in Boulder, Colorado, that made national headlines when it authorized a highly controversial assembly for its student body without parental notification or approval. According to Bill O'Reilly of Fox News, four guest presenters discussed the virtues of participating in promiscuous sex, drug taking, and breaking the law by experimenting with the illegal drugs of marijuana and ecstacy. These are but a couple of examples of how the nation's schools have sunk to an all time low in standards and morality during the course of the past fifty years, and these examples are but the tip of an enormous iceberg that is poised to sink America as if she were the HMS Titanic! How can anyone seriously maintain America is on the right path economically, politically, or morally? The vast majority of the American people maintain America is headed in the wrong direction, yet half of the electorate voted to re-elect President Obama and a larger Democratic presence in the U.S. Senate.
The aforementioned examples are featured in chapter one of my book, 'The Sissification of America: A Fifty-Year Decline In American Exceptionalism.' Not only does my book educate Americans about our country's historical virtues of exceptionalism, how they came about, and why they are in decline, but it also presents an action plan as to how we can reverse the dangerous course we are on. America R.I.P. Will This Be Our Epitaph?
It has been a couple of weeks since the elections, but the dust has not yet settled. Americans are divided more than ever before. We are engulfed by government scandal with regard to four dead Americans, including one of our ambassadors. The mainstream media is a joke in this country, and they have no credibility whatsoever with at least half of the American people because they no longer report with objectivity. They were willing campaign workers for President Obama. Provable, voter fraud throughout the nation exists on a massive scale. Many of our citizens have petitioned the White House for a peaceful secession from the Union. Both large and small businesses are either laying off thousands of workers or reducing them to part time work in order to stay in business because of the exorbitant costs linked to ObamaCare. Many businesses are going belly-up because they can no longer compete because of federal and state regulations as well as having to cope with the thugs and bullies of union workers and bosses. Just look at the company Hostess for proof of this! The stock market is taking a sound beating! All of this was predicted to happen if Obama was re-elected, and it is a prophecy come true. My fellow Americans, here are some of my additional post-election thoughts.
Half of the American electorate enthusiastically voted for the following:
* Their approval of the continued growth of secular-progressivism that is waging a war upon our Judeo-Christian heritage including its annual War on Christmas and Hanukkah.
* Their approval of the vile entertainment industry that is also waging its own war upon American traditional values and morality.
* Their approval of the un-American agenda being perpetrated by vile and powerful groups such as the ACLU, People for the American Way, and Americans United for Separation of Church and State, to name just a few.
* Their approval of the progressives' continual assault on the U.S. Constitution, thereby relegating it to the ash heap of history.
* Their approval of a leviathan federal government and its total dominance over both individual and states' rights.
* Their approval of an economy that continues to list more and more socialistic.
* Their approval of a weakened military defense and smaller role of American influence around the world.
* Their approval of ceding our national sovereignty over to the United Nations and the World Court.
* Their approval of continuing to throw Israel under the bus.
* Their approval of open borders.
* Their approval of a public school system that continues to be nothing but a wholly owned subsidiary and propagandist arm of the Democratic Party.
* Their approval of a university system of higher education that is also a wholly owned subsidiary and propagandist arm of the Democratic Party that is brainwashing our young people with liberal, secular-progressive psychobabble.
* Their approval of an "entitlement mentality" and society where hard work is no longer valued.
* Their approval of the continued growth, influence, and power of the "nanny state."
* Their approval of parents ceding their own authority over their own children to the "nanny state."
* Their approval of the appointment of federal magistrates to the Supreme Court and federal courts of appeals who blur the lines of delineation of powers between the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Branches of government, thereby functioning more and more in the role of black robed "oligarchs" and "Greek gods and goddesses," dispensing edicts down upon their subjects from "Mount Olympus" rather than functioning as judges ruling in the manner prescribed for them under Article III of the U.S. Constitution.
This is what half of America voted for on November 6, 2012! Is it too late to turn this national nightmare around? I do not believe so. The American Character and American Leadership
A number of years ago, my eighth grade honors students honored me with two awards containing a couple of anecdotes they maintained described both my character and classroom leadership skills. I maintain these exact same attributes are being sought by many Americans with regard to their leaders. Chapter six of my book, The Sissification of America: A Fifty-Year Decline in American Exceptionalism, chronicles and documents the decline of the traditional family unit, the massive increase in fatherless homes, and the feminization of our men, our boys, our schools, and our culture in America. The following two anecdotes also apply to women, not just men, and they are quite revealing.
AMERICA NEEDS MEN
...who cannot be bought;
...whose word is their bond;
...who put character above wealth;
...who possess opinions and a will;
...who are larger than their vocations;
...who do not hesitate to take chances;
...who will not lose their individuality
in a crowd;
...who will be as honest in small things
as in great things;
...who will make no compromise with wrong;
...whose ambitions are not confined to
their own selfish desires;
...who will not say they do it "because
everybody else does it;"
...who are true to their friends through
good report and evil report, in adversity
as well as in prosperity;
...who do not believe that shrewdness and
hardheadedness are the best qualities
for winning success;
...who are not ashamed or afraid to stand for
the truth when it is unpopular, who can
say "no" with emphasis, although all the
...rest of the world says "yes."
THE ESSENCE OF LEADERSHIP
"A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. He does not set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the
quality of his actions and the integrity of his intent. In the end, leaders are much like eagles...they don't
flock, you find them one at a time."
When voting in November, consider which men and women running for local, state, and national elections exhibit these qualities. As I say in my book, be as wise as owls and as cunning as serpents when casting your ballots! Our country is in serious trouble, and the stakes could not be higher!
